GS points are credits that are only recognized and distributed by GrocerySavings.ca. The Grocery Game is only open to residents of the province of Ontario, Canada.

Grocery Game Rules

You must read these Official Rules before participating in the GrocerySavings "Grocery Game". All participants ("Participants") agree to be bound by these GrocerySavings Official Rules (the "Official Rules"). No purchase necessary. The Grocery Game is void where any aspect of the Grocery Game is prohibited by law or where registration, bonding or translation is required. Eligibility Participants must be an existing GrocerySavings member. Each Participant must be an individual who is a legal resident at least the age of majority in his or her jurisdiction of residence for the duration of the Grocery Game Period. The Grocery Game is only open to residents of the province of Ontario, Canada. GrocerySavings, in its sole discretion, shall determine the eligibility of Participants and the time of entry. Participants expressly waive any right Participant may have under the laws of the country of Participant's domicile or residency to have the Official Rules, the Grocery Game registration, the Grocery Game website, and all correspondence with Participant written in the official language of such Participant's country of domicile or residency. By registering for or participating in the Grocery Game, Participant agrees to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and any decision GrocerySavings or its designees make regarding any matters relating to the Grocery Game. Participants who do not comply with the Official Rules are not eligible to win a prize. All decisions made by GrocerySavings or its designees shall be final and binding. GrocerySavings reserves the right to disqualify from the Grocery Game, and any future contest or other promotion conducted by GrocerySavings, and to prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law, any Participant who, in GrocerySavings's reasonable suspicion, tampers with any of GrocerySavings's sites, the entry process, the Grocery Game, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. In the event of disqualification of a winner, GrocerySavings may replace the winner with the next winner at the sole discretion of the GrocerySavings. Participant warrants that all persons participating in the Grocery Game are able to give, and have given, their full consent to participation and to the exploitation of the rights in the entry envisaged hereunder. By participating in the Grocery Game, Participant consents to GrocerySavings's use of his or her name, and statements made by or attributed to him or her, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed (including, without limitation, print, broadcast, and Internet), for all business purposes including advertising and promotional activities without additional compensation, notice or approval, unless prohibited by law. Prize Drawing GrocerySavings or its designee(s) will determine the "Grocery Game" winners through a process that is randomized. The chances of winning will depend on how many GS points a Participant has accumulated in the prize drawing month. Finality of Decisions: All decisions of the GrocerySavings are final and binding in all matters relating to this Grocery Game. Prize: Prize for "Grocery Game" winner: A single prize of a $50 gift card for any of the following grocery stores: Dominion Food Basics Loblaws No Frills Price Chopper No substitutions (including for cash) are permitted. Notification of Winners and How to Claim Prize: Winners will be notified on the day of the drawing which is the last day of each month. Winners will be notified by e-mail and must reply back via email with a valid home address in Ontario. The winners must reply with the required information within a week from the draw date in order to claim the prize. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification. The prize will be mailed to the winner. In the event of a dispute about the identity of a Participant, entries will be declared submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry or associated with a GrocerySavings account. "Authorized Account Holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider or online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A winner may be required to provide GrocerySavings with proof that he or she is the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address associated with the winner. Disclaimer and Limit of Liability: GrocerySavings MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY PRIZE OR ANY PARTICIPANT'S PARTICIPATION IN THE GROCERY GAME. GrocerySavings SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, COST, OR INJURY THAT ARISES FROM OR RELATES TO PARTICIPATION IN THE GROCERY GAME, OR WINNING OR USE OF A PRIZE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: (I) LATE, LOST, DELAYED, DAMAGED, MISDIRECTED, INCOMPLETE, OR UNINTELLIGIBLE ENTRIES; (II) TELEPHONE, ELECTRONIC, HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE PROGRAM, NETWORK, INTERNET, OR COMPUTER MALFUNCTIONS, FAILURES, VIRUSES OR DIFFICULTIES OF ANY KIND; (III) FAILED, INCOMPLETE, GARBLED, OR DELAYED COMPUTER TRANSMISSIONS; (IV) THE DOWNLOADING OF ANY MATERIAL IN CONNECTION WITH THIS GROCERY GAME; OR (V) ANY OTHER CONDITION THAT MAY CAUSE THE GROCERY GAME TO BE DISRUPTED OR CORRUPTED. GrocerySavings RESERVES THE RIGHT, IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION AND WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE, TO SUSPEND OR CANCEL THE GROCERY GAME OR ALTER THE RULES FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IF AT ANY TIME A COMPUTER VIRUS, TECHNICAL PROBLEM, OR OTHER UNFORESEEABLE EVENT ALTERS OR CORRUPTS THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE GROCERY GAME. Release: BY PARTICIPATING OR ENTERING THE GROCERY GAME, EACH PARTICIPANT RELEASES AND AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS GrocerySavings AND ITS PARENT COMPANIES, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THOSE RELATED TO PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, INFRINGEMENT OF PROPRIETARY RIGHTS, RIGHTS OF PUBLICITY OR PRIVACY OR DEFAMATION) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH: (I) THE ENTRY SUBMITTED BY PARTICIPANT; (II) ENTERING AND PARTICIPATING IN THE GROCERY GAME; AND/OR (III) ACCEPTING OR USING ANY PRIZE. HOWEVER NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL LIMIT SPONSOR'S LIABILITY UNDER ANY CATEGORY OF LIABILITY WHICH UNDER THE LAW OF AN PARTICIPANT'S JURISDICTION CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED. Governing Law: The Grocery Game and the rights and obligations of GrocerySavings and Participants will be governed by and controlled by the laws of Ontario, Canada, applicable to contracts made and performed therein without reference to the applicable choice of law provisions. All actions, proceedings or litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within Toronto, Ontario. The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the province of Ontario and federal court located within such province with respect to any action, dispute or other matter pertaining to or arising out of the Grocery Game.
